Dear LC Custom Stationery Shoot
We have several custom stationery shoot projects in the works right now, and as we plan for these, I thought it would be fun to blog one of our favorite shoots from last year. Have you ever considered a custom stationery shoot for your stationery business? It’s such a great way to make your online presence appear beautifully one of a kind.
“Dear LC is a stationery design studio specializing in timeless, classic, simple wedding invitations. Dear LC’s Wedding Collection—a line of statement-making, simple wedding invitation suites—debuted in December 2011 by Dear LC owner and designer Lynn Cody, who has been in the wedding invitation business for more than ten years. The Collection offers a contemporary twist on the traditional by combining upscale elegance and sophistication with classic, timeless design. Extraordinary attention to detail and a reputation for addressing the individual needs of each and every client makes the Dear LC experience unique allowing you to enjoy preparing for your Big Day!”
For Dear LC, Jennie created three unique colorways with several layout options. Did you know that Jennie, our product stylist and branding guru, is also a talented stationery designer? Her insight helps guide our custom clients to create usable layouts that will showcase their designs.
Here are the three color ways and some of the vertical layouts.
Something I wanted to point out was how your custom images can be used in multiple ways by cropping in to focus on certain pieces. Dear LC used a full layout in a blog post to showcase a beautiful suite. Check it out here!
Then, in an Instagram post, she cropped in to the full layout to focus on just the invite. Here it is:
And speaking of Instagram, be sure to check out her feed to see lots of our images from this custom stationery shoot. We are so excited to see how beautiful her feed is because of the branded, consistent images she has to post!
Something we offer to our custom stationery shoot clients is the option to add images styled specifically for Instagram. They are styled for a square crop and are done in the same color way styles that we use for the collaborated layouts.
Below are some of the ones Lynn chose and has used on her Instagram.
